In our extensive practice, there are projects that occupy their own unique place. These projects don't need branding, they don't need conceptual design or any kind of rethinking. But they definitely need a delicate approach and, if I may say so, "restoration" work. Sometimes it is necessary to put things in order, to "clean out" the label in a good sense, and to restore a long-lost illustration. This is exactly the same project.
The label came into our hands in a rather deplorable state - due to numerous changes and reprints, the original engraving depicting the château was virtually lost. The manufacturer feared that the label would lose its authentic look and the special charm of old French labels.
We delicately restored the pattern and worked it out in detail, providing for the use of post-printing technologies. We tidied up the design elements, renewed and refreshed them without violating the authentic spirit of the original French label.
The use of advanced post-printing processes was thoughtfully planned out for the label. Their combination and use won't go unappreciated by the consumer, and on the shelf, the product will draw the attention of the most sophisticated connoisseurs of classic French wines.
