1821 is the year in which the city of Bolgrad, located in Odesa Region in southern Ukraine, was founded. The Bolgrad brand embodies the essence of the southern regions along the coast: a light atmosphere, excellent climate, and good winemaking.
Bolgrad was the first Ukrainian producer to decide to bring sparkling wine in a lower and wider bottle to market, which is more typical of Western producers. Through this, the brand wanted to convey to consumers its commitment to the European tradition of sparkling winemaking.
Our target was to carry out a comprehensive branding campaign for sparkling wines under the TM 1821 Vintage Bolgrad. We had the following tasks:
- bottle design
- label set design
-further development of the previously created brand identity
The 1821 Vintage Bolgrad line of sparkling wines is a tribute to the classic French traditions of winemaking. Our goal was to highlight the brand's freshness, its aspiration for the future. To ensure that the product doesn't just stay relevant on the market as long as possible but remains years ahead of its main competitors in terms of its appearance.
The bottle design was based on the traditional shape of those for European sparkling wines. The embossed logo personalizes the bottle and clearly identifies the brand. The overall design is stylistically consistent with the brand identity.
Special art paper, a tactile varnish, foil stamping, and embossing were used to create the label. Together, all this creates the overall image of the product and makes it attractive to the consumer.
