MUSE Design Awards 2019

This prestigious awards competition was created by International Awards Associate in 2015, to answer a need for nurturing and promoting the designing “muses” that push the evolution of design to the next level

MUSE Design Awards seeks to discover and advance existing and developing designers in all the design professions that improve the world we live in, from the buildings we inhabit to the fashion we wear, the rooms we walk through, the vehicles that take us from place to place, the packages we open, and the products we love.

The MUSE Creative and MUSE Design Awards are international competitions for creative and design professionals from all disciplines, who help push the evolution of their industry in a positive direction. “As a creative professional myself, it is empowering to watch the creative industry grow and progress so much since the inaugural year of the MUSE awards,’” said Kenjo Ong, CEO of both competitions. “These achievements are proof that there are many who continue to innovate and originate amazing ideas.”Both the MUSE Creative and MUSE Design Awards are administered and judged by International Awards Associates (IAA), and stellar panels of internationally-recognized professionals from both fields. IAA oversees awards and recognition programs, assembles judging panels, and sets rigorous standards for both competitions.Grand Jury PanelThis year’s Jury Panel includes 42 renowned, experienced, and brand-new Judges from 22 countries worldwide. Judges hail from leading companies in the creative and digital industry from all corners of the globe, and include professionals from such power brands as Grayling, McCann Worldgroup, Stewards of Wildlife, United Nations Children's Fund, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, etc.Entries in all categories were ranked according to industry-best standards. During blind judging, panelists evaluated the effectiveness of creative and design concepts, selecting winners from a deep pool of international submissions.

The 2019 competition included entries from Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Republic of China, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Honduras, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Macau, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and Yemen.Participation of International BrandsNumerous entries from international brands and top agencies from around the world were received for this year’s award program. The amount of time and passion dedicated to producing such astonishing works is truly admirable. Entries submitted by agencies for companies and brands such as Netflix, FOX Networks Group Spain, Walt Disney, Disney Channel, Warner Brothers, BBC News, Audi, Ford, Kia, Jaguar Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Nike, Dell EMC and McLaren, Bank of America, Dell Technologies, Coca Cola, Carlsberg, Longines, AIA Singapore, Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Nu Skin, Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board, Morris Animal Foundation, French American Chamber of Commerce, Banana Republic, Gap Inc., Philips Design, HBA International, Doyle Collection Co. Ltd., Studio Louter & OPERA Amsterdam, and Stinessen Arkitektur are among some of the winners from this year’s award.“Winning a MUSE is a testament to the creativity and ingenuity these creative professionals possess,” Ong said. “The tough criteria, blind judging processes and strict bylaws limited the number of winners, but it created a cornucopia of winners whose work exemplifies the best of the best, earning the right to receive this coveted statuette.
