Upon receiving the assignment for this project, the agency’s designers have promptly identified the general guidelines for the entire packaging design for this product. Since the main accent for this product is its country of origin, and the brand name itself provides a strong reference to a specific region in Uzbekistan, it was decided that the overall style of the packaging should follow the Uzbek visual traditions.
Upon the first glance the product is easily identified as an Uzbek brandy thanks to the use of a peculiarly shaped bottle. The label design echoes and amplifies this unique shape, introducing additional visual elements that allow to identify the product’s geographic origin even faster. One can easily see the use of traditional Uzbek patterns, specific font types, and a particular color scheme, which together create allusions to hidden treasures and the rich culture of Middle Asia – the exact region where the product comes from.
